The Toyo Celsius AS2 tyres will expand the manufacturer's line of all-season tyres, which first debuted in 2016. Unlike its predecessors, these tyres feature a clear directional tread pattern, emphasizing performance on snowy roads. The V-shaped deep grooves enable the tyres to manage snow, water, and slush infiltration effectively, enhancing removal of fluids from the contact patch and boosting performance on wet and snowy surfaces.

Bevelled edges on the tread blocks are engineered to reduce braking distances on both wet and dry surfaces and to prevent tread deformation, ensuring stable contact with the road. A unique feature of these tyres is the "snow claws" located in the outer ring channels, improving traction on snow and mud while maintaining block stiffness.

The centre of the tyre features a higher density of sipes, while the outer sections are less dense, improving traction on snow and ice. To enhance driving comfort, the Toyo Celsius AS2 tyres include special Multi-Wave sipes, which decrease rolling resistance and cabin noise.

The manufacturer advises purchasing the Toyo Celsius AS2 tyres for frequent winter use, citing test results that show a 4-meter shorter braking distance on snow and an 8-meter reduction on ice compared to other similar all-season tyres.
